I received a M.S in Marine Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December 2015, advised by Dr. Adrian Marchetti. I graduated with Highest Honors in Environmental Science and a minor in Marine Science from UNC in 2013.
In addition to being a scientist, I’m an aspiring science communicator, writer, and educator. After graduating, I worked as a Science Communication Intern with the Association of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO). I’m passionate about fostering excitement about science and nature in nonscientists, particularly through finding creative ways to make science relevant to diverse groups of people.
